Ahhh...I get it now. These chips are "very scarce" because they are always sold in LARGE QUANTITY SETS of several hundred chips, and not by a set of just one of every different chip. So, to make a chip very scarce, you simply need to sell it in bulk lots. And I thought simply listing a chip on eBay made it scarce. Learn something new on this board everyday...
