I don't feel bad...
In Response To: Don't forget High Value chips ()

I've asked the same question and got the same variety of answers.

I read no market to mean, the chip has not been offered or sold, so they have nothing to use as a Market Value.

But using TCR as my guide. Page v of #9:

(exerpt)
We have indicated, with a star, or asterisk (*) those values which are not supported by significant numbers of recent sales.

So if a chip was new or not available, it would be the same.

A M* would mean, estimated value, based on an educated guess, rather than buying and selling prices.
