Re: To those that play on-line, tell me the truth.

I've been fortunate on-line. I bought in a small amount on UltimateBet about 3 years ago. ($30) The first week I played in a $5 tourney with 400 players and placed first for $600. The next night I won a $10 tourney with 400 players for $1200. I started playing in a 2-4 no limit game from there and ran my account up to over 10k in about 3 months. I deposited $500 in Pokerstars from my Ultimatebet money and lost down to about $100 and decided to play in the nightly $10 re-buy tourney. I placed 3rd out of about 700 or so and picked up around $3000. ( We chopped) I played that same tourney every night for about 3 weeks after that. I won on a saturday night with over 1000 players and picked up close to 10k. That was 6 months ago and I'm back and forth now. I cashed out a great deal and now I can't win a hand to save my life. I just lost my last $150 on Pokerstars before this post going in 81% pre flop, 98% after the flop. Sometimes the fish have to catch the perfect card to keep em coming back but this last 3 months had been nothing but disapointment. Poker is all about ups and downs. If you can continue to put your money in the middle when you have the advantage in a hand you will make money.
