Hamburger?? Well, if you really had to have a burger, they offered a hamburger steak for .40 or a hamburger sandwich for .25

A few other menu items were:

Pickled pig feet and Salad for .40
Homemade Chili and Beans was .15
Canape of Russian Caviar was .60
Ham and Egg sandwich was .25
Cold Prime Rib with potato salad was .60
Lobster a la Newburg was .85
Hot Pork or beef or lamb sandwich was .25
Assorted pies were .10

The most expensive thing on the menu was New York cut steak for $1.10 grin

I think we figured out our menu was from the 1930's....maybe early 1940's.

Thanks for sharing the matchbooks...we've got one, hopefully someday we'll find more.
