Took a load up to Spokane yesterday and passed a billboard for Wild Horse Casino in Pendleton, OR. It was bragging about how they have larger payouts than several of their competitors in central and eastern Washington. Anyhoo, it always makes me smile when I see it. It's an image of a roulette wheel and the the legend says, "If we had Elvis...he'd be the bigger 1970's Elvis!" Spirit Mountain also had a very very clever and amusing advertising campaign that relied on visual content and was seen on TV and billboards. Contrast these two programs to the twerpery Hard Rock continually comes up with. Sigh.

I looked in the map pocket of my car the other day and found only two maps. One was Reno and the other was Las Vegas. Life is good.
