I have a set of chips similar to these that I had personalized. Your son will love them. Once he plays with these chips they will scoff at the old plastic chips that kids play with in college. They are not the best chips ever, but for a home game (especially a college home game) the work very well. I am not sure if you have a Costco near you, but they are selling similar sets for $60.00.
