Archie, I thinksome may be misconstruing what you are saying. I know you bwell enough to say You most defineatley are NOT condoning the making of these chips. I know you aren't saying its anything but bad for the hobby. I'm sure you know there will be people that are "suckered"into buying these chips.

Stop me if I'm wrong here. What you are merely saying is that there isn't anything we can do to stop these people from making them if they are intent on doing so. As you said; it's a free country.

Really, all we can do is make our voices and disapproval heard to both the makers, and the potential buyers when we can.

I think if one of our fellow chippers here with enough free webspace can make a FAKE CHIP WARNING page, we can direct people to it. I know the club has a fake page, but it really could be done in a way as to be a "CONSUMER ALERT PAGE" where we go into detail as a consumer/chipper advocate. ....."Know what I mean, Vern??"
