I have three intriguing chips. All three are shown in the scan below. Apparently someone decided to use old clay chips for a new venture called “Casino Paris”, instead of buying custom chips. The center area of the chips is covered with a round paper/foil sticker. The chips shown with a sticker are covered on both sides. The “CAL / VAY” chip has had the sticker removed on one side. I’m thinking someone found several boxes of old clay chips and decided to use them. Home game? Charity game? The telephone number on the sticker is: 213-566-1001. I believe the area code 213 is Los Angeles. I considered calling the number, but them I considered how uncomfortable I would be sleeping in the shed after Jenny got the phone bill.
