Response from "Vintage Chips"
In Response To: Danger to our HOBBY ()

" Archie ... I'm glad to get feedback. We defiantly DONąT want to do anything that would be a problem for chip collectors, since we're collectors too. That's why I posted what I did instead of just going off and making the chips.

I posted this morning some suggestions to get some more feedback. We've come to the conclusion that the best answer would be to put a copyright mark on every chip that says something like © 2004 HGP.com and to produce a line of fantasy chips with some old-style design.

Also, the edge emboss and color spots would be all new with very bright colors, many of which weren't even available in the past.

Our goal is to produce a line of beautiful chips that have a lot of style and fun but that are defiantly NOT something that would really be mistaken for real vintage casino chips. I'm sure the modern colors, edge design and copyright notice would make them safe."
