I'll go along with those sentiments. I bought a couple chips from Steve and had a very difficult time getting the money to him. The USPO kept losing my letter to him with payment but they'd come back to me as undeliverable. My wife, just retired after 36 years with the USPO, would say something like, "Huh, that's unusual!" At one time I'd sent him payment both by 1st class and by special delivery. He'd already sent me the chips!!! After a couple weeks, seemed like forever to me, Steve got his money.

During all of this he was unflappable while I was worrying that I might be declared persona non-grata. I have a nephew in the area and even offered to have him run over with the payment.

Steve was very understanding and I appreciated it.
