Instructions to check your computer to see if you have Sun Java. Most up to date computer have it. It allows you to play online games, chat, etc.

This is very basic beginners instructions for those that are not computer literate. You might want to print this page.
1. click on Start on your windows desktop.
2. click settings.
3. click on Control Panel

Once in control panel you should find an icon that looks like a coffee cup and is labeled java plug-in. If you don't have this you are behind the "times" Go here and download it. It is a simple easy download. This is commonly known by programmers as the " Microsoft Java Virtual Machine " .

Once you have downloaded java you should be able to go back to step 3 and see it there. Click on the icon and make sure you have the right browser checked. Trust me it's a piece of cake!

After you complete this you should do a windows update by going to www.windowsupdate.com and choose scan for updates.
