Many democrats support capital punishment, many republicans oppose it. Many democrats oppose abortion of demand, many republicans support it.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

Oh, sure -- there isn't a single democratic businessman in the entire country. Or a single republican who doesn't support government regulation of or interference with business.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese and North Korean communists.

No democrats own guns, either, right? Name a single prominent democrat -- just ONE -- who has ever said it is okay for U.S. nuclear weapons technology to be given to communists anywhere.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

No republican has ever voted for funding for the arts?

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's.

I can't even figure out what that one's supposed to mean.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural.

What does "gender roles are artificial" mean? As for homosexuals, well, god made them, too.

7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

I doubt that very many democrats believe 4th grade teachers can't teach reading. I don't too many people -- democrat or republican -- who support teaching sex education in the 4th grade.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.

So, no hunters are democrats? No environmentalists are republicans? There are a lot of looney activists -- many of them are from outside San Francisco.

10 You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

Many democrats own guns and believe in the 2nd amendment. Many republicans support causes on behalf of which the ACLU acts.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Gen. Robert E. Lee, and Thomas Edison.

Interesting that one of the people you consider "important to American history" is arguably the biggest traitor in the history of the country. Certainly one of the two most prominent (along with Jefferson Davis). How do you think the current administration would deal with anyone who took up arms in rebellion and was the cause of the deaths of several hundred thousand American soldiers? Hell, we executed Timothy McVeigh for a lot less. Many current republicans are berating John Kerry for having spoken out against governmental policy in Vietnam. At least he protested within the system, rather than engaging in armed rebellion against the legitimate government of the country.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides are not.

I'll give you that the attitudes expressed here are incongruent -- I'm just not sure you can attribute them solely to democrats.

Sorry, but there are a lot of democrats who dislike Hillary as much as they dislike Dubya.

17. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

Actually, Bob, in case you haven't noticed, we have in many respects a rather advanced form of socialism working right now in this country. Supported by democrats and republicans alike. The largest budget items at every level of government today exist because of a "socialistic" activities (number one on the list is public schools -- and how about "social security"?).

18. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and a sex offender belonged in the White House.

What conservative "telling the truth" do democrats want to see in jail? I really have no idea to whom you are referring here.

And what "sex offender" do they want in the White House? I assume you mean Bill Clinton, but it's a false analogy, because Clinton's sexual activities did not make him a "sex offender" -- none of his actions were illegal (at least none that have been revealed).

19. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag queens, transvestites, and bestiality should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

Another false analogy, for several reasons (the most obvious being that homosexuality is not a religion and therefore not covered by the First Amendment proscriptions). Anyone who wants to have a parade containing a manger scene is allowed to do so. Furthermore, a parade which actually "displayed" bestiality wouldn't be allowed anywhere and I doubt that any democrat would support allowing it.

Do you really think that there are no Christian democrats?

20. You have to believe that illegal Democratic Party funding by the Chinese government is somehow in the best interest to the United States.

Name one democrat who has ever said this.
