I don't have a favorite chip, or for that matter a favorite casino.
But the chips I favored were the Irish ivory chips. The $25 chip was colorful, and unlike other chips that could be counterfeited ivory chips could not. These of course are not really part of Nevada history but the riverboats history of the southern states.
I always liked multi-colored chips that were of a uniform size. The larger promotional chips just did not feel right. The gold stamping made the chips uniform and indicated the casino and the dollar amount. What set them apart from other chips was how colorful they were.
