Since I show up in the "Comet Chip" auction description, I'll post my thoughts. These chips may have come from a movie prop house but that doesn't mean they have appeared in a movie IMO. One of our members went to the trouble of contacting TR King and getting the Warner Bros. attribution and I'm sorry that I've forgotten who. I had email contact with the eBay seller on these particular chips looking for additional info. They are a couple and he was in the film industry as an effects specialist as I remember. I passed on the Warner Bros attribution and imparted some discussion about chip manufacturing and ordering and importance of attribution vs. value. I told them that I felt WB did the artwork apart from the monogram and that if they could put the chip with a movie, person or event that would enhance the importance of the chip. The starting bid on this chip seems appropriate. The seller "efxpert" may have puffed the chip a bit in the description, but it is eBay, ceaveat emptor applies as you know. I like my Comet chip and enjoyed dealing with efxpert but I think I would have tweaked the description in regards to any actual movie use.

Thank you Gene for your input! Can't comment on the Ecuador chips but the Crystal Bay chips are genuine but like the other chips, I don't know if they're movie stars.
