Me too. But it IS TRUE you should have your Domain protection block to "ON" just for the reason they expressed. It costs nothing, it's a simple check box. Having it checked prevents it from being moved.

I don't know if it's a scam (from YOUR letter) because it is true... BUT there ARE a lot of scams baised on the same thing like David said earlier. They hijack your domain name and charge you to use it. A year or so ago I got a simular note and did not have a clue as to what exactly it meant so I called my registrar and found out they had infact sent it and explained what it meant, they were just warning people to understand the risk of having it "OFF".

If you have questions Call or email your registrar (Don't use the link provided in your letter, that is what they WANT you to do if it's a scam).
