Jim ... thank you for your public apology for your part in the events that transpired last week.

I was privy to the entire email exchange between you and Steve Wells, and you were very eloquent in bringing out the highlights of that email in this post.

I work really hard full time trying to provide nice chips to the marketplace and take my business and my efforts very seriously, and have never nor would ever intentionally mislead anyone.

Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of lurking on the CB or being "in the know" of current finds or hoards, and must rely on published information, which was well the case already in place in the Horseshoe examples. I still believe the C-W book covers these types of things much better than the TCR, and I believe James goes to great lengths to provide much more information on such things.

In order to provide even more information and clarification in my auctions, I have inserted the following sentence in my future auction descriptions that will begin on Thurs night ........

" I recommend that you consider the condition shown with respect to any hi-book value that may be stated, as well as referring to any other reference that you may choose in determining what value this chip may have to you."

I am hoping that this addition to my descriptions will be beneficial to all concerned and possibly end any criticism that I am in any way unethical and/or deceptive in any manner.

Aside from the underserved bashing I believe I got over this whole thing, I would like to be a respected contributing member on the CB to healthy discussions of matters that concern us all in this hobby, as I have a unique perspective of many of these issues and I think my contribution could be very helpful and educational in many matters discussed out here.

However, I am fearful that every time I post out here, I end up suffering from some type of bashing, but would like to invite anyone who would like to hear from me to post and I would love to lend my slant to any healthy responsible post about anything that affects our hobby !!

Now, having accepted your apology and said all that I did above, is there anyone out there that would like to engage me in reasonable conversation and/or debate about legitimate chips issues .... you never know ... I might not be that bad of a guy afterall ... !!! LOLOL
