Cadillacin' in Washington

Since I finally had more than ONE day off since June I decided to head up to a couple of cardrooms in WA. Hadn't played any Blackjack since the convention. Stopped at the Last Frontier in La Center and got beat there. Beat is the word for their Chipcos also! They were always some beauties with various views of nearby Mt. St. Helens but they're so worn, you'd be hard pressed to tell what was on them. If you've got some in new condition, better hang on to them because you cant get them at the cardroom. Walked through New Pheonix and the same situation applies there.

Twenty miles north to the mill port of Longview and Cadillac Ranch. Big news there... more tomorrow. This is one weird joint, even for Washington! vbg I get the last chair at a Lucky Ladies table and all the 2nd hand smoke anyone could want. The guy next to me chimes in to the table in general, "Ever played at a table where it was everyones first time playing Blackjack?" Resisted the urge to point out to him that yeah, everytime I head north outta Oregon I run into that situation. I notice that even though I'm at a $1 minimum (!) table there are twenty $500 lavenders in the the dealers tray, but no black chips. Also since I've owned Cadillacs, I know this ain't no Casino De Ville grin but who'd come to Yugo Ranch? Happy Labor Day folks!
