1. As the plan was designed they were usable
at any public or private school.
2. In the very few cities where tested they
were very succesful. They allowed urban students
to go to better schools(public ones or private)
3. It forces schools to show results or lose
students.
4. It forces teachers to teach.
5. Many teachers oppose this plan.
6. The teachers union therefore opposes this plan.
7. The teachers union is one of the biggest
contributors to the democratic party.
8. The democratic party is therefore opposed
to this plan.
9. The big losers are the students who would
benefit from a better education, as well
as our country which would benefit from
better educated citizens.
