My latest acquisition. grin

Kinda neat !! A short history blurb of L.V. and Nv. on the front along with a brief history of each casino on the back.

Here's one:

CASTAWAYS CASINO

Oct.24,1957 - July 20, 1987

The Castaways originally opened as the Monte Carlo Casino. It was changed to the San Souci Casino on July 24, 1957. Located at 3360 Las Vegas Blvd. on the famous Las Vegas "strip." On July 1, 1963 the name was changed again to the Castaways. It was always a favorite of the locals and famous for it's sports book. Howard Hughes purchased the casino in 1971. It was closed and torn down in 1987 to make room for the Mirage Hotel.

Hope it's not too big for some of you dial-uppers.

Later......Rick
