Newbies

When are you not considered a newbie in this club. I really hate the term and the common myths that come with being a newbie.

I've been chipping for 3 months and have a 600+ chip count. When am I not a newbie?

Is there a special criteria I have to meet?

It seems to me that people assume that just because you are new to chipping that you are a moron and lack the common sense to judge the fairness and validity of an ebay auction or any chip purchase.

Although I am new and do not own any kind of price guide book, I try to do my homework before I bid on or purchase any chip. If I want to purchase a chip at a price, I will do it with no regret, at my own risk.

The listed or suggested price someone lists on an Ebay auction has never had any impact on me to buy a chip. I will pay for a chip based on what I value it as, not others. Sometimes if someone writes to much garbage in their description it actually makes me suspicious thinking they are trying to sneak something by.

I feel like I am able to assess a situation and make my own informed decisions based on my assessment of any prospective purchase.
