James...thank you for pointing out the relevence of the three prices being directly related to condition.

It surely wouldn't be appropriate to quote a high book value for a chip that has been reglued or in poor condition. As your criterion states, the High book value is in respect to a 95.

The point about not every chip changing value; oh man...that would be one scary scenerio if they all did! Very, very true that a lot of chips are the still realistic values even from a priceguide that's a few years old. The real trick would be knowing which ones!

Thats the same for TCR as well, there are plenty there that have been the same year after year. Some cases, the chip may be the same for years, and then go either up or down after a long time of being stable. As we all know the most sigificant and dramatic revelation to values is when a discovery is made of a scarce and valuable chip. More times then I'd like to admit the effect is so dramatic, the news should come with a Nitro tablet.

I, for one, am eagerly awaiting the release of the 3rd edition of C&W's Official Guide. If it were up to me, I would put you guys on a strict sleep restriction program to increase the number of hours per day that you'd be working on it.

So, get busy...so this whole topic can be a non-issue!!! vbg
