I've taken the monorail from MGM to the Hilton. The MGM station (and Bally's) are the same as the free one before so the LONGGGG walk will still be there for the MGM. The Hilton station is real convenient! It's just a few steps from the station to the Hilton. It lets you in at the old Spacequest casino. The walk from the Sahara station to the Sahara looks quite long from the outside but I haven't taken it so I can't really say. The others, not sure either. I can say it seems to be well used! We took it on a weeknight and it was pretty crowded. I do think, however, the fare is a bit steep. Right now it's a novelty so people will take it but once that wears off, I think they will be in trouble if they are counting on a certain ridership at that fare to pay for the system and any expansion they plan. BTW, security is pretty good too as the stations have personnel there watching and there is limited access at least to the stations I stopped at. It probably beats cab rides but if you rent a car and know your way around the traffic of the strip on busy nights, that's the way to go.
