I just came in from the hospital and I saw a new person there! My mother has no IV s any more, still on oxygen, breathing treatments down to every four hours or longer, and WALKING down the hall once a day! She looks and feels much better and dad is leaving her and going home for a few hours a day (before he would not even go down stairs to the cafeteria unless someone was with her). They are like Siamese twins sometimes! There are going to be some tests done on Monday and possibly go home on Tuesday. I can joke about my inheritance being postponed and her refusing to die now. It wasn’t so funny a few days ago. She is laughing and cutting up with dad and complaining about being in the hospital (the REAL sign you are getting well).

Ryanne and I came back and celebrated, we stopped and picked up bar-b-que (not on my diet plan). For those not from Texas, bar-b-que is it’s own food group. Reading the board and eating ribs is a nearly impossible trick! Nearly as hard as having sex in a hammock, standing up.
