Re: Washington Casino Info Needed

I found Chewelah Casino today. And to answer Clyde's question, that is the name of the casino... however, they are using Spokane Indian Bingo & Casino chips. Right next to them is Double Eagle casino, privately owned, and no connection with the tribal casino. Both have 21 and slots. Chewelah also has a craps table, but don't remember if DE did or not. Only a couple of people were in Double Eagle.

By the way, I stayed at Glacier Park Lodge while I visited Glacier Park in Montana. I was surprised to see a "casino" in the basement, run by the Blackfeet who have the reservation nearby. The hotel was built in 1913 by the railroad and is still privately owned. It is NOT in Glacier National Park... just a mile or so outside near the old Amtrak station. The casino had only wierd slot machines... no table games.

I picked up a few of the chips shown below. Available at face plus a dollar per chip, shipping included. These Gamblers' General Store chips are not in good condition except for the half dollar from Chewelah which appears to be new. I got the best I could find.

I showed the pink DE chip twice so you could see the 50c on the reverse.
