Harvey Fuller Update

I had talked to Harvey Fuller last night. He had just received a pace-maker. He sounded really good on the phone. He is now living with the nephew of his late wife Eleanor.
He had sold his rare chip collection a couple years ago and can not get his heart back into it as he had all those years because he can't get out there like he did in the past. But he did say that when he passes a garage sale - his heart flutters.
He once told me that he never paid $5 for a $5 chip! He always paid less then face for those rare chips he had collected by looking in all the nooks and crannies of Nevada. You never know the treasures you can come upon unless you look.
He used to get the paper nifty nickel on Wednesday and plan it out on Thursday, take Eleanor to Sam's Town or downtown, let her play nickel keno and he would then hit up all the garage sales in order according to his map. He would do approximately 20 garage sales on Friday another 20 on Saturday and as many as 30 on Sunday. He did this for 30 + years. He also visited all those towns and court houses digging up all the history of the casinos that he could find. Then wrote his book "Harvey J. Fuller's Index of Nevada Gambling Establishments"
There is so much more as most of you know. Although maybe Harvey hadn't officially signed up new members to the CC>CC, he is responsible for getting many people into chip collecting, like myself.
Anyone wishing to write Harvey - his address is:
