With reference to comments I made on the club site, but so as not to de-generate into the usual 'brawl' on that board I post below a hypothetical scenario for comment.

A 'known' collector but non-club member desperate to raise money visits Gene at the Palms with a view to selling his collection of chips at face. Gene immediately agrees, pays the guy the money and takes the box. During his break, Gene browses the box and to his surprise he finds a slabbed chip. In disgust he hurls it across the room towards the garbage can. Its is a wild throw and the slab goes straight out the office door into the poker room. Murph is sitting at an empty table during his break chatting to Andy Hughes. The slab flashes past Murph's left ear and hits the wall. It shatters and the chip lands on Murph's table unscathed. Gene is heard to shout 'you can keep the f***ing thing'. Andy says to Murph 'I need that chip - I will give you $5 for it'

Questions:
Have Gene or Murph or Andy done anything wrong?
Should Andy keep the chip or put it in Gene's garbage can to melt
