Do not worry about getting into KY. Sunday, Betty and I started at Frankfort, KY and went south only to Harrodsburg. Spent 4 hours.
If the weather would have not been so nice, we would have quit after an hour.
The only thing I purchased was a cassette tape, for my car. The guy said 1.00 a piece or $5.00 FOR THE WHOLE BOX. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN 200 tapes in the box. He said he was tired of looking at them. I took the box.
Long story short;
Friday and Saturday we went to visit my son in South Bend, IN. Seven hours going up, 12 hours coming home. My children drive it in 4 hours.
Did Flee markets, Antique Malls, individual yard sales, and a once a year SHIPSAWANNA Antique Show.
Not one Casino, illegal, Gambling anything was found.
In one antique Mall I saw a wooden nickel for my friend Bill Snider. I asked the lady how much. The sticker had fallen off from being in the case so long. It said $1.50. I asked if she would take a dollar. SHE SAID THAT IT WAS SO OLD IT WAS $1.50. I threw on my negotiating hat and told her that in the 20 years it laid there, no one wanted it. In fact I was buying it for a friend. She was just getting ready to say OK, And I thought: Keep IT. Later I heard her tell a customer, they had a lot of traffic but no sales.

This morning I got on Ebay and bid on 3 items. I got one, and dealt direct with some sellers on others.
In a half hour I made 3 nice buys.

Forget burning the gas, I am going to let my fingers do the traveling.
