a really neat history of Wells by Gene and Peggy Kaplan. They submitted this history to the ashtray site and then Michael Knapp said I should point it out to Allan. Then Allan said yes and then the Kaplans got together with him and got some neat Wells pics. I can't wait to see it myself.

The Kaplans own the old El Rancho and Bull's Head Bar in Wells.

I cannot even imagine having shingles in the eye region. I saw my mother in agaony over having them at a waist level. Allan, you have my sympathy for that.
