I would have asked these questions via email but there might be others who are going on the cruise who have the same questions.

I'm flying into Miami the Thursday night before the cruise. What hotels are in close proximity to the ship? Exactly where will the ship be docked? How close to the airport is it? Do I need to rent a car at the airport, or, assuming I don't plan on doing any sightseeing in Miami, would using taxi cabs make more sense?

I'm sure I could come up with a few more, but these are enough for now. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
