Hi Mike, I don't collect Banknotes, but the two that I have came as part of of a bigger lot of coins I won. They are both 250 Ruble notes issued in 1917. They are identicle except for the serial numbers. The front feature the Imperial double headed eagle of the Romanoff's over a swastika.

Before the German's perverted it, the swastika was a symbol of good luck. At the murder house in Ekaterinburg, the Tsarina had actually carved a swastka in the windowsill of her bedroom.

The reverse of the notes bear cyrillic writing, the date 1917, and the serial number. The serial numbers of the notes I have are AA-082, and AA-034. AA-082 is in much better condition than the latter. Both show age, and some fading.

These were the last notes issued by the Tsarist Government before the Bolshevicks took over. Sorry I couldn't supply a scan. I'd like to trade them for chips, if your interested. I sold one of these on eBay a while back for around $8.00.
