Include 'accept paypal' in your item descriptions but, depending on your abilities, you have two choices:

1. More experienced 'programmers' can customise their paypal invoices. The function exists to 'pre-populate' fields. DO NOT specify 'Ebay Sales' as the payment time. Just use 'Other'. The $1000 threshold only applies to Ebay related receipts.

2. Dont include the paypal link in your item description. Send your own paypal invoice and specify 'Other' as the payment type. You can still put the ebay item number(s) in the comments field.
