I think you have your head in the sand, Bob. If you know anything about economics, the economy was already falling in Clinton's last year and 9/11 put it in a nose dive. Let's clear up one point: President Bush didn't start war on terror. Terrorists started it before 9/11. President Franklin Roosevelt led us into World War 11. Germany never attacked us; Japan did (450,000 lives lost). President Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us (55,000 lives lost). Vietnam never attacked us. President Kennedy sarted that conflict in 1962 and President Johnson turned it into a quagmire (58,000 lives lost). President Clinton went to war in Bosnia without United Nations or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. Clinton was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and he did nothing. Bin Laden attacked us on multiple occasions. In nearly three years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush liberated two countries,crushed the Taliban, crippled Al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Lybia,Iran and North Korea and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost 900 soldiers. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.
