Mark Karoll.... We Want to Know

For the moment putting aside the controversy of the Pai Gow chips in which you seem to still have yourself immersed, I have a question regarding the slabbed chip on ebay.

As you know there were several hundred people who signed a pledge not to do business with anyone selling or dealing in slabbed chips.
As a result, you know you have put yourself in a situation where you will most likely do yourself more harm than good offering this chip for sale.

My question is WHY? Is it your intention to try to undermine the purpose of the collectors who pleged to be slab free?
Why hide the identities of the bidders on your auction?

Would it not have made more sense to break the chip out of the slab?
You would have probably received more bids, higher bids and not driven a wedge between yourself and those that are working hard to keep a pariah out of our hobby.
IMHO you are doing yourself more harm than good.

I'm not sure of ebay rules regarding items which have bids on them but a prudent thing to do would be to withdraw this item.
