I didn't start paying attention to politics until the 2000 election. I always figured that both sides were crooks. Once I took the time to see where both parties were coming from, I naturally became a democrat. I'm not going to give up on my beliefs if I hear someone on the left say something I don't totally agree with any more than you'll stop being a right winger if some conservative says something you don't totally agree with, am I right?

And I disagree with your analysis of Kerry. Bush scares me. Ashcroft scares me even more.
