I've been told that there was a time.....

that you could play solitare in Vegas for money. You bought in for $52, spread a conventional solitare pattern (seven stacks, left-to-right, first stack is one card face up, all other stacks increase by one more card and top card is face up). Cards are played to exposed cards by sequence (decending) and by alternating color. The remaining cards in the deck can only be gone through one-at-a-time, and once only.

Aces play up top, followed by other cards matching suit and ascending order. Payout is $5 times each card stacked with the aces.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
