Re: Are parking rates variable?
In Response To: Are parking rates variable? ()

Parking rates vary from casino to casino in A.C. Usually it's $3-$4 during the week. Those casinos nearest the more popular beaches and near Convention Hall charge more than others to discourage non-patrons from parking there. It is not unusual for Caesars and Trump Plaza to charge up to $20 for parking to those who do not have a players card if a major event is scheduled that day for Boardwalk Hall ... or the Atlantique Show in Convention Hall

Usually, with a players card, the parking fee is $4 at all times ... if there is room in the garage. Sometimes the casino garages are full and NO ONE can park there.

Sands, Borgata, Harrah's all offer free parking for those with a platinum players card. That's why sometimes slot card Round Robins are popular with collectors. Score an "orphaned" platinum card from certain properties and it's worth considerable money just for the free parking it offers; not to mention going to the head of the buffet lines at some properties such as Resorts, Harrah's and Showboat.
