This post is inspired by Gene's post earlier regarding Bud Jones Chip samples. I met Bud Jones, back in 1976 when I went to his "little" Nevada Dice Company to have some personal chips made for me. As you can see by the receipt, I was staying in Room 4142 of the Thunderbird and I paid cash for the chips. Check out the initials of the person receiving the cash! The chips on the bottom are the ones he made for me. I still have this set!

Oh, how I wish I had known then what I know know about collectible chips. Think about the casinos that were open then that I could have gone collecting in. As it was, I picked up many chips for my own collection, but, (sigh) few extras!!

That was 28 years ago and July 3, 1976 was my 34th birthday! Oh, how the time flies!!!!!
