Hey, Train Guys, UP Heritage Fleet...UP 6936

Not the greatest shot...Heritage Fleet member UP 6936. Awesome piece of equipment..8 axle trucks and two engines under the hood.(I can't remember what HP the two engines were, could have been 3000, 3300, or maybe 3600, but probably not), nonetheless impressive. An E9 it isn't but still pretty impressive for 1969.

Shot at Hinkle Oregon ready for some more fun. Lots of Heritage passenger cars in tow.

These engines were built by EMD to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad on May 10th 1969.

Could be wrong, but I think the 6936 was the last one made.

All gone now, but this one is another that Steve Lee and crew takes care of in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
