Regarding your comment about awarding plaques for all of the place-finishers, the answer is Yes. Although not all of the plaques have gone out, but each of the three place-finishers, each all four categories will receive plaques and a letter commemorating their achievemnet and placement.

With respect to time allocation for the actual awards during the Convention Banquet, allow me to say that several events conspired to impact that (and other) portions of the evening. As with any live event, sometimes things just happen.

While there was an effort to streamline certain elements of the Banquet, I was very pleased that we had...

1. A great speaker

2. A great turn-out of OTY Award recipients

3. No food delays

4. And fun with the biggest SNAFU of the evening, where a baby-sitter was not placed on C.T. Rodgers!
