Made my 2nd ever trip to Fremont Street during the convention and pulled this chip out of my stack at a blackjack table. Isn't this a great chip! Worn out and a few knife scars...sez a lot about El Cortez to me. Seriously, going to keep it in my collection as is because it tells more stories than a mail order uncirculated El Cortez ever would. Nice folks there at El Cortez and I won some money from them but the place is a lot like this chip, new once but not any more! Same red with yellow inserts $5 as that beautiful El Cortez arrowdie on the cover of Campiglia/Wells which certaily indicates that the El Cortez must have been a shiney new place once upon a time. Sometimes it's hard to beat a beat chip.
