On my way towork this morning, I stopped help a young woman whose car had run out of gas. It's not a safe part of town and it was 6:00 a.m. So, I drove to 7-11 and bought her a gallon of gas, came back, put it in the tank, and she thanked me and drove off. About two minutes later I arrived at work to find a message on my voice mail. The message, which was 2 minutes old, was from a local radio station who was calling due to a contest I entered. I had won $100, but since I was not there at the time of the call I was not eligable. Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished.
