I may have missed a post on this subject but how the heck am I or other collectors supposed to tell if a chip has been modified or not?????
Is there a procedure to subject your chips to to verify their originality or is "Whalen is just too good" all we have to work with???
I, personally, think that comments of that nature will just send more business his way and, ultimately, as you say, destroy the hobby (high end/RARE that is) If you collect non cancelled, you are OK!!!
I have those 5 x $100 and would like to validate their unmodified nature. Should I take them to my dentist for x-rays or what????
I am confident that I am not the only collector faced with this dilema and any help would be appreciated.
