Anyone 'knowingly' selling a repaired chip as unrepaired/original should be banned from the club for life and publicized. Furthermore, I believe it is criminal fraud as well as civil. With prices where they are these days, it's grand larceny by fraud and as well as suing, anyone so victimized should press criminal charges. That's about all we can do to discourage this outright deception, theft and affront to the hobby.
