Another convention find. Harrah's Plaza was Bill Harrah's second tango parlor opened in Reno. It was next door to the Wine House.

Grand opening was July 1, 1938. It closed on September 1, 1938 after he bought out his competition, The Heart Tango Club at 242 North Virginia Street. He then closed the Plaza.

The goofy lettering is kind of hard to read. Next post will show inside of the cover.

Pretty scarce item from a place open for 2 months in 1938. I consider it a major find in the casino matchbook world.
