I just got back home from the convention. I really had a great time meeting friends and picking up a few chips. Some highlights: lasting longer than ever before in the Hold'em tourny; the banquet - best speaker ever; dinner with Doug Saito at the LV Club - 75c shrimp cocktail and a $2 slice of pizza, Doug bought me a beer; the LV chapter meeting; trading, trading, trading; a rumor that a chip sold for over $40,000 at the convention - an unlisted $100 Sands hourglass mold; the auction; lunch with the former chapter presidents; volunteering at the Club table and the auction table; comped dinner with Neil and Ralph; a long roll at the Riviera craps table; and hitting the Mirage with Mark and Roy.

I want to thank Jim Steffner, the Club's BOD, all the auction chairpersons and all the volunteers. You did a great job, the convention ran smoother than ever. I can't wait till next year.
