I completed the first leg of my journey yesterday. I drove from New Orleans to Shreveport, LA, where I picked up a few chips and won $60 at the blackjack table. Loaded back up in the truck and drove from there to Albequerque, NM. It was a long day full of strange sights (dromedaries in Texas, Apache choppers, and antelope in NM), but the drive was great. It ended with a beautiful sunset over the hills around Albequerque as the drive was coming to a close.

Tomorrow - Vegas!
