Tonight's selection comes from the country of Suriname. It is a NEW issue and a NEW unit of currency. Pictured on the front is the Main building of the CBvS at the Waterkant in Paramaribo. The back shows the one of the Caribbean beaches of Suriname.

In January 1, 1004 the new currency went into affect and the Suriname dollar to guilder ratio is 1/1000 or drop three zeros from the guilder to equal Suriname dollars. The US Dollar will buy 2.8 of the NEW Suriname Dollar.
