Re: NCR: Ronald Reagan Dead at 93

I never in my wildest dreams ever thought the cold war would end during my lifetime or even in my grandchildrens lifetime. But thanx to President Reagan (and Lech Welensa of Poland and the Pope,) my fondest dream came true.

And to add icing to the cake, President Reagan made us, the American citizens, feel great again. Proud to be an American was once again the "in" thing. Under his leadership we were strong, the 800 lb. ape and commanded respect and fear throughtout the world.

Of all the major decisions he made throughout his term of office, I felt he made only one major decision that I can think of offhand I didn't like (although I understood it.) And that was his trip to the cemetary in Bittberg.

May God bless his soul. May we all remember one of the greatest presidents we ever had (at least in the 20th century along with FDR) and pray for the day when we as a nation can once again feel proud.

I wish President Bush had the orotary skills of Ronald Reagan and be able to persuade the Socialist in our counrty to back off bashing America and critizing everything we do.

This is a sad day in my life and along with the D-Day remembrances of 60 years ago tomorrow, makes it even sadder.

May god bless America and our president to help him keep on making the correct decisions for all Americans.
