I had a long running battle for almost two years with PayPal and refused to use them (and then wasn't allowed to use them !!). I've been using it to pay for items over the past several months and just got "verified" this morning. But I've heard it from a number of potential bidders who share a common view with you regarding not bidding on items that you can't pay for with PayPal.

Item #9...I have had sellers notify me that they've sent my items and I appreciate that, but as a buyer (and knowing the time it takes to sell stuff on eBay) I don't ask for this. And I don't notify buyers that I've shipped their item unless they've asked -- and I usually forget to do that half the time!!

Item #10 -- with the new "My eBay" layout, leaving feedback and the status of each item sold is soooooooooo much easier...mark it paid, mark it shipped and leave feedback all in one location. I just checked on "Items Won" and unlike the "Items Sold" page, it doesn't have an icon to let you know that payment was received by the seller and that it was shipped. Having the ability to view that info as a "Buyer" would be nice.

Now, regarding item #6...I have first hand knowledge that (at least in my instances) adding "bold" or highlighting does attract more buyers. When I first starting selling on eBay, I put up two "exactly the same" $5 chips from the MGM Grand with the gold foil lion. I listed them two hours apart so they wouldn't be right next to each other...one with the "highlight" or bold (which ever was cheaper ). The "highlighted" one sold for 40% more and had double the viewing "hits". I know that when I'm scrolling through the 80 pages or so of chips, the highlighted ones do catch my attention better.
