I would just like to take a moment to respond to Mike's accusation that I am a "shill" bidder. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Mike is just a sore loser. He contacted me after seeing my name on the bidders list for this particular auction. I in turn contacted the seller and found out the WHOLE STORY. It seems that one important bit of information Mike is leaving out of his story is exactly why the origianl auction for all 6 chips was cancelled. Because Mike contacted the seller against ebay policy and asked him to cancel the auction and sell all 6 chips to him for $300.00. It seems Mike just doesn't like to play by the rules. Now Mike sells nothing but poker chips on ebay...therefore making me think that the value of these 6 chips would be somewhat beyond $300.00 and Mike knew that. The seller told me that he then decided to do a little more research and decided the chips were a rarity and decided to post them individually. He assured me that all he has are the 6 with no access to any others....and think about it...if some man was doling them out to him 5 at a time why did he have 6 to begin with and not 5?
As far as Mikes claims that I have never before bid on a poker chip....well....how would he know? He can only see what my last 14 items were out of 96. That 96 POSITIVE feedbacks doesn't even include the auctions where the seller never bothered to post any feedback. Mike on the otherhand has NEGATIVE feedback..perhaps because he doesn't like rules? I just want to reitterate that I DO NOT know the seller, have never met him and live well over 1200 miles away from him. I have in the past seen his auctions and make it a point to check what he has for sale. I am not a "shill" bidder and I have never once gone against ebays rules and regulations, unlike "honest" Mike who sees something he wants and tries to acquire it in dishonest ways. I realize some of you have dealt with Mike and/or know him personally, and you don't know me so believe what you want...I just wanted my say. Thanks for listening.
